Microneedling at home will save you thousands of dollars at your dermatologist's office. You can do this simple procedure, over and over, if you purchase the Dr. Pen at home microneedling device and some Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum. The device uses small needles to prick the skin, and the subsequent healing process creates so many benefits, such as:
Reducing the appearance of acne and other scars
Improving the appearance of dark spots
Reducing and smoothing wrinkles and large pores
Brightening and evening out skin tone
Regrowing or thickening hair or eyebrows
Generates new collagen to firm and tone skin
You can microneedle your face, nose, cheeks, chin, chest, neck, hands, shoulders, hairline, eyebrows, and scars.

Here is a video of my 2nd at home microneedling procedure:
Start by thoroughly cleansing any areas to be treated, and washing your hands very well. Use a disinfecting wipe to clean the area you are working with and the pen. You can wear disposable gloves if you'd like. You could even disinfect your skin to be treated with 50/50 rubbing alcohol and water. ALWAYS use a new, disposable microneedling tip with fresh needles for each treatment, and dispose of it when you're finished.
The Dr. Pen has 6 speeds, I use a 3 in this video. Set the length of the needles based on the area you are treating. A conservative, yet still effective length guide:
Forehead, chin, neck, and chest: .5mm
Nose, corners of eyes, around lips: .25mm
Cheeks: .75mm
Scars: 1-1.5mm
Spread some hyaluronic acid serum over the clean skin to be treated, then you can work in a crosshatch or circular pattern over the hyaluronic acid, then move to the next area, making sure you are adjusting the length of the needles are you move on, if necessary.
When you're done, use one last hyaluronic acid layer to calm the skin. You should be pink and possibly have some very minor bleeding. Do not wear makeup for at least 24 hours, the longer the better, and do not have any sun exposure for the next few days, and use sunscreen for at least the next two weeks daily. The redness will be gone in 24 to 48 hours, and you'll look incredible about day 7-10, so this is a great procedure to do a week or so before a big event. You can do this treatment every several weeks, and the more times you do it, you will just see more and more improvements!
